Bhool jaate hai
Aksar zindagi se
shikayaton mein masroof
Hum uski naimaton ko
bhool jaate hai
Ghum ki bediyon mein
Ulajhte ulajhte
Khuli hawa mein
sans lena bhool jaate hai
Kuch bikhre rango ko
sametna ki koshish mein
Naye rang bharna bhool jaate hai
Shayad kabhi kabhi
sansein to lete hai par
hum jeena bhool jaate hai

Unattainable
In nothingness
I try to find solace
But it seems like yet another
Stage of grief
Where there is no denial
And awareness of emotions exist
But the heart fears to feel
And drowning in nothingness
May give temporary relief
But exoneration remains
An unattainable dream

Blessings
When it feels
as if you are drowning
A log appears to keep you afloat
When lost in the darkness
A ray of sunshine makes its way
To illuminate the path
you are meant to take
Blessings in life
Show up in most unexpected ways

Hues of Grey
Amidst black and white thinking
all we need to find is a hue of grey
As somewhere in the middle of it exist possibilities.

Your essence
The essence of poetry is in
The emotion it emanates
But in adornment and ostentation
Sometimes the essence gets diluted
Leaving behind a bunch of words
While the soul awaits
For emotions to lay bare

Stillness
Poetry is the language
My soul speaks
In the wordless world
Between Earth and Ether
It’s the rhythm that travels
And connects all dimensions
In the stillness of this nothingness
Everything exists

Closure
If tears could wash off
impressions from our soul
I would have drowned mine by now
But a part of me just knows
Closure is far from reach

Warrior Soul
My warrior soul
Has learnt to seal
The chinks in my armour
With the oozing gore
Of my broken heart

Opinions and Judgements
People enmesh opinions with judgements as the thin line between the two is often overlooked. The most important differentiating factor is the tonality of communication. While opinions are open ended and can be changed, judgements are rigid and conclusive. One can have an opinion on something based on their experiences while judging someone often holds an undertone of blame.
Everyone has a right to express their opinions as long as they are not crossing the line and pointing fingers at you, blaming you for your actions and choices. You may not agree with their opinions, you may have a different perspective but if they respect your choices, the least you can do is respect their opinion.
