The time and effort Even the emotions invested in a bond Seem wasted When someone takes a jibe And mock your true feelings Assuming your love is your weakness They take you for granted Forgetting that nothing in life is constant Some can survive without love But not without their pride © Sakshi Gangwani

Let’s Shrug off The burdens of past Those perturbing thoughts Of what future bears in its clasp And center our energies On our today Where you and I still Hold a chance To embrace the beauty of life And be the reason for Each other’s smile © Sakshi Coach

Test of time

He’d once asked Why she opened her heart to him When it’s closed for the rest of the world And she’d replied He made her feel safe without a second thought Time went by Seasons changed They evolved Their bond saw some highs and lows But the way he made her feel Stood the test

When in your most vulnerable moments You are abandoned And the love you nurture In your heart Is termed as yore As if it once existed But isn’t there anymore You wonder if all this while You were holding the flame alone And as if the validation Of your love wasn’t enough Your pain is
